As a result, secondary sun protection products such as moisturizers or make-up offering sun protection appear to be a more durable option for everyday use, especially if this protection can last for several hours.<\/p>\n

Having long-lasting, persistent sun protection has many benefits, including reducing the need for frequent reapplication, which is particularly beneficial for those who lead active lifestyles or spend a lot of time outdoors.
\nIn addition, persistent sun protection can offer users peace of mind, enabling them to enjoy their activities without constantly worrying about the effectiveness of their UV protection.
\nThis can also be useful for people with sensitive skin, as less frequent application can reduce the risk of sun-related skin irritation and lessen dryness problems. <\/p>\n

To back up these assertions with scientific data, WENEOS has developed an in vitro method to measure the durability of sun protection performance over time (4h or 8h), taking into account its photostability.
