Spectrum absorbance
Analyzing the absorbance spectrum of a cosmetic product or ingredient, such as UV filters, plays a crucial role in the field of sun protection. It allows us to examine the effectiveness and spectrum of UV protection (from 290 nm to 400 nm).
This evaluation is carried out by plotting the absorption curve, either by applying the product to a suitable substrate, or by diluting it directly in a solution. Measurement is then performed using a spectrophotometric technique.

Development
As part of your product development or to identify a potential candidate, we offer screening tests that enable you to assess UVB and UVA protection with ease.
Non Absorption In Vitro
This test consists in assessing the non-absorption of a cosmetic product over the entire UV spectrum, using a suitable substrate on which the product has been spread and measured using a spectrophotometric method.

In Vitro Absorption Curve
This test consists of evaluating the absorption curve of a cosmetic product over the entire UV spectrum, using a suitable substrate on which the product has been spread or in solution (dilution). Measurement is then performed using a spectrophotometric technique.
