Job summary:
We are looking for a qualified and motivated laboratory technician to join our solar research team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, registering and labeling products, as well as carrying out in vivo sun tests using the HDRS (Hybrid Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy) method on human volunteers. You will also be involved in processing results and writing reports, while overseeing the organization and management of the laboratory’s inventory. You will also be involved in innovative research studies.
Main tasks:
- Receiving and registering products: Ensure the accurate receipt, registration and labeling of products entering/leaving the laboratory.
- In vivo sun tests: Perform in vivo sun tests using the HDRS (Hybrid Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy) method on human volunteers in accordance with established protocols for evaluating the efficacy of suncare products.
- Results processing and reporting: Analyze test data, write detailed reports and interpret results to support ongoing studies.
- Laboratory organization: Ensure rigorous tidying, storage and inventory of laboratory equipment and products.
- Research studies: Actively participate in the design and execution of research studies, in collaboration with the scientific team in the field of solar protection.
Qualifications :
- Diploma (bac+2 or bac+3) in chemistry, biology, physics or a related scientific field.
- Previous clinical laboratory experience, including interaction with human volunteers, is required, ideally in the field of sun testing or cosmetics.
- Inventory management and laboratory organization skills.
- Ability to analyze data and write clear, concise reports.
- Thoroughness, attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional skills appreciated:
- Knowledge of solar testing standards and regulations.
- Experience in product research and development.
- Computer skills in the use of laboratory management and data analysis software.
