Job summary:

We are looking for a motivated apprentice laboratory technician to join our solar research team. The ideal candidate will be in charge of receiving, registering and labeling products, as well as carrying out in vitro sun tests. You will also participate in the processing of results and the drafting of reports under supervision, while playing an active role in the organization and management of the laboratory inventory. You will also be involved in innovative research studies.

Main tasks:

  • Receiving and registering products: Ensure the accurate receipt, registration and labeling of products entering/leaving the laboratory.
  • Carrying out in vitro sunscreen tests: Carry out in vitro sunscreen tests in accordance with established protocols for evaluating the efficacy of sunscreen products.
  • Results processing and reporting: Analyze test data, write detailed reports and interpret results to support ongoing studies under supervision.
  • Laboratory organization: Ensure rigorous tidying, storage and inventory of laboratory equipment and products.
  • Research studies: Actively participate in the design and execution of research studies, in collaboration with the scientific team in the field of solar protection.

Qualifications :

  • Diploma (bac+2 or bac+3) in chemistry, biology, physics or a related scientific field.
  • An interest in the world of cosmetics and scientific research.
  • Ability to analyze data and write clear, concise reports.
  • Thoroughness, attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.

Additional skills appreciated:

  • Previous laboratory experience, preferably in sun testing or cosmetics.
  • Computer skills in the use of laboratory management and data analysis software.
